Descrizione
Prestigious chasuble made of a high-quality, very soft and lightweight wool-blend fabric. The ring collar is finely embroidered in gold, and the JHS symbol decorates the front of the vestment. The embroidered design is completed by the gold decorations on both sides and along the entire hem. Available in the 4 liturgical colors, plus pink (used on the third Sunday of Advent and the fourth Sunday of Lent). The use of the stole is always mandatory for bishops, priests, and deacons during celebrations and rites (although the deacon uses a different stole, as it must be worn differently from the priest). When wearing it, the priest (bishop or presbyter) lets it hang straight from the shoulders to the legs, while the deacon wears it diagonally, from the left shoulder to the right hip. Over time, the stole's symbolism has evolved: initially, it represented the office that deacons and priests accepted during ordination; later, it came to symbolize the virtues of the priest, making it a symbol of humility, wisdom, patience, purity, and fortitude.
