Chasuble embroidered with the Pax and Alpha and Omega symbols. Polyester blend

Chasuble made of a polyester and wool blend, with an embroidered Pax symbol, Alpha and Omega, positioned centrally at the top, and embroidered wheat ears and a bunch of grapes descending downward along the entire length of the fabric. Available in ivory and red. Made in Poland by a company of artisans. The General Instruction of the Roman Missal indicates the chasuble as the proper vestment of the priest when celebrating Mass and in actions directly connected with it. Originally, the vestment reached the heels, covering every part of the priest’s body. Over time, it underwent many changes in length, including on the arms, eventually becoming a rigid garment that covered only the shoulders and torso and fastened at the sides (planeta). Only during the 20th century did the chasuble take on its current dimensions. The color of the chasuble is determined by the liturgical season.
