There Will Be Saints Among the Children

The title phrase is by Saint Pius X, and it continues to ring true today: in Italy, in recent years, many children have received extraordinary graces. This volume presents brief biographies of some of them. These children bore witness to the beauty and happiness of the Christian faith to all who knew them. They are also inspiring ever-growing devotion among those who encounter their stories, partly because of the many small and great graces that are beginning to be attributed to their intercession. Their lives are largely unknown, but they are beginning to be brought to the attention of the Church for possible recognition of the holiness that many already attribute to them. In the case of Carlo Acutis, declared blessed in 2020, this has happened. We live in a time when the Lord seems to wish to comfort his Church not through great saints, but by giving preference to the littlest ones. Paoline Editions
