In Catholic tradition and devotion, the prayer of the Angele Dei (“Angel of God”) is one of the prayers most cherished in the memory of the faithful, learned from childhood as the first act of trusting surrender to Divine Providence. The Guardian Angel is the discreet companion whom God places beside every creature to enlighten, protect, support, and guide them along their earthly journey. This pendant transforms the prayer into a visible and lasting sign: the complete supplication is engraved on the body of the little angel, turning the piece of jewelry into a constant invitation to recollection, gratitude, and awareness of the constant presence of God.
Part of the Custodi Bronze religious jewelry line conceived and curated by Editrice Shalom, the pendant combines symbolic value with everyday practicality. The angel’s shaped silhouette features a high-definition micro-engraving of the lettering, crisp and legible, with a smooth, finely polished back. Made entirely in Italy from high-quality hypoallergenic bronze with a bright silver finish, it is equipped with a sturdy quick-release lobster clasp that makes it easy to attach to chain-link bracelets, necklaces, rosaries, or devotional cases. The careful finishing and resistance of the metal alloy ensure an optimal hold and lasting comfort against the skin.
Because of its profound pastoral significance and the beauty of its message, this charm makes an ideal gift for the sacramental milestones of Christian life. It is the perfect choice for godfathers, godmothers, parents, and catechists on the occasion of Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation, so that young people may always carry with them the memory of heavenly protection. Its understated design and the universal nature of the prayer also make it a welcome gift for adults, the sick, or loved ones in need of comfort and blessing.
