Moisturizing and soothing hand cream with mallow, glycerin, and allantoin, produced and packaged by the Cistercian nuns of Valserena. Suitable for preventing and treating irritation caused by weather conditions or frequent washing. It leaves the skin soft and absorbs quickly. Mallow: long known as a medicinal plant for its anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties, it is widely used as an herbal tea to remedy digestive problems. Mallow extract is also widely used in cosmetics as an ingredient in creams for dry or irritated skin, thanks to its emollient, soothing, and moisturizing action. All the properties of mallow in this cream are combined with those of allantoin, which has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties that make it ideal for sensitive, inflamed, or reddened skin, while its antioxidant, repairing, and moisturizing action is ideal for making mature skin more elastic and soft. The monastery belongs to the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance, a monastic institute entirely devoted to the contemplative life. Within the enclosure, the nuns devote themselves to the worship of God according to the Rule of Saint Benedict.
