Moisturizing and soothing face cream made with aloe vera, produced and packaged by the Cistercian nuns of Valserena. It is suitable for all skin types, including the most sensitive. Aloe Vera: at a 40% concentration, it has notable moisturizing, soothing, and emollient properties. It stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, promotes cell regeneration, and gives the epidermis a firmer appearance. It protects the skin by counteracting aggressive agents that irritate and stress it. This cream is very lightweight, making it suitable also as a makeup base. Packaged in a convenient 50 ml jar. Directions for use: Apply morning and evening.

Historical notes: Since 1968, products for personal care have been made in the laboratory of the Cistercian Monastery of Valserena. This activity supports the community and helps foundations in mission lands. The monastery belongs to the Cistercian Order of the Strict Observance, a monastic institute wholly devoted to the contemplative life. Within the cloister, the nuns devote themselves to the worship of God according to the Rule of Saint Benedict.
