The Rosary, Prayer of the Heart

Monsignor Yoannis Lahzi Gaid is one of the Holy Father’s personal secretaries and is also responsible for translating into Arabic the catecheses that the Pope gives at General Audiences. In this text, he offers us the opportunity to pray the Rosary by bringing together the Eastern and Western traditions. The book is being published in Spanish after having been published in Arabic (in Egypt) and subsequently in Italian. Although the Coptic Catholics are a small community in Egypt, the Arabic text has achieved a circulation of nearly 100,000 copies. The publication also exclusively includes a handwritten text by Pope Francis expressing his thoughts on the Rosary. Readers are offered a historical, theological, and spiritual excursus that can help them deepen an authentically lived Marian devotion.
