The Eucharist, a Mystery to Know and Live

Through the original approach of linking text to images via PowerPoint slides, Monsignor Martinelli returns to the Eucharist in this XXXI volume of the Catechesis in Images series, a theme to which he has already dedicated other volumes in the series, because, as Pope Leo XIV said: “The Eucharist is the treasure of the Church, the treasure of treasures. The celebration of Holy Mass saves us today! It saves the world today! It is the most important event in the life of a Christian and in the life of the Church.” This treasure entrusted by Christ to His Church, which “is the summary and sum of our faith” (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 1327), can therefore never be exhausted in knowledge or lived participation.
