Gaudete et exsultate. Apostolic exhortation on the call to holiness in today's world

Pope Francis urges us, the people of God, to rejoice and exult because the Lord has chosen each of us individually to be holy and blameless before Him. The Holy Father encourages us to give our all in order to grow toward that unique and unrepeatable plan God has intended for us from all eternity, and he shows us the way: carrying out ordinary actions in an extraordinary way! The exhortation, given to us precisely on the solemnity of Saint Joseph, who became holy as a humble carpenter, teaches us not to be afraid to aim higher and to let ourselves be loved and set free by God under the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
