The Appeals of Our Lady. Marian apparitions and shrines around the world. Carlo Acutis

The book contains all the material collected by Saint Carlo Acutis to create an exhibition on Marian apparitions, later completed by his mother and Nicola Gori (postulator of Carlo’s cause for canonization). The idea for the exhibition arose from the young man’s love for the Madonna and the Rosary, which he called “the shortest ladder to climb to heaven.” Using a great many information sheets, the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary are recounted, beginning in Italy and then extending throughout the world. The texts are accompanied and enriched by extensive, useful photographic documentation: through the images, readers will find themselves taking a “trip around the world” in the footsteps of Mary’s manifestations, which, like brightly shining stars, illuminate the way. An extensive introduction outlines Carlo’s life and documents the beatification ceremony (October 10, 2020). The volume concludes with an appendix dedicated to the exhibitions conceived and created by Carlo.
