Cecilia’s Heaven. An angel who sings the praises of the Lord

Faced with suffering and death, we are all dismayed, but faced with the suffering and death of a child, our faith often falters and we ask the Lord why He allowed all this to happen. Cecilia, in her short life marked by illness, responds to all these questions with trust in God and the Madonna. Her entire existence was an offering, and the offering of a child is something sacred and profound. Cecilia was a child like all the others: she loved singing and reading, she got angry, cried, argued with her siblings, but she was also a special child who accepted and lived through suffering with her splendid eyes always turned toward heaven, toward that Paradise that surely welcomed her.
