The Wonderful Secret of the Souls in Purgatory. Treatise on Purgatory by Saint Catherine of Genoa

Does Purgatory exist? What is it really? What is it for? Does it concern us today as well? This book offers answers to these and other questions, simply summarizing the Christian doctrine of Purgatory, starting with its biblical roots and the teachings of the Church. The volume also includes Saint Catherine of Genoa’s “Treatise on Purgatory,” rewritten in contemporary Italian and accompanied by explanatory notes, so that readers can rediscover a great mystic of the past. Finally, it presents testimonies about Purgatory from several saints and mystics of different eras, as well as a section devoted entirely to indulgences, to learn about works of suffrage that can help our deceased reach Paradise.
