The Rosary, Prayer of the Heart

Don Yoannis Lahzi Gaid, formerly the Holy Father’s personal secretary, offers us through this text the opportunity to pray the Rosary while taking into account both the Eastern and Western traditions. The book is being published in Italian after first being released in Arabic in Egypt. The Coptic Catholics in Egypt are a small community; nevertheless, this text has achieved a circulation of nearly 100,000 copies in Arabic. The book also includes, exclusively, Pope Francis’s reflections on praying the Rosary, handwritten and signed by him. Readers are thus offered a historical, theological, and spiritual excursus that will certainly help them live out an authentic devotion to Mary.
