The Renounced Cross

Increasingly - in our country and throughout the globalized West - the Christian faith seems lost or even renounced. Is it simply an evolution in customs? An irresistible rise of secularization following scientific and technological progress? Or the emergence of a new world without God, in which people choose to idolize substitutes - money, power, pleasure - and, ultimately, even themselves? Apostasy is the formal and voluntary abandonment of one’s religion. Indeed, many are abandoning traditional practices and morality in a slow but inexorable process that seems to have no end and is distancing humanity from the light of Christ. In this new essay, Father Livio issues a powerful cry of alarm, also supported by the messages coming from Medjugorje, which urge us not to delay, because the time to return to Jesus is now.
