The Liturgy and Ecclesial Language

The 29th volume in the Catechesis in Images series is dedicated to the liturgy and ecclesial language. These are two important, interconnected aspects, because ecclesial language “makes use of words, silences, rites, signs, gestures, images, and human actions to live the Christian faith in its many interconnected and complementary components.” Through the original approach that connects the text to images using PowerPoint slides, Monsignor Martinelli, in this volume “which joins others in the same series presenting other aspects of the liturgy (see, in particular, Vols. II-IV and XX-XXIV), aims to offer some additional insights that can help us understand and experience the liturgy ever more fully, making the most of the various positive aspects of ecclesial language.” Discover all the volumes in the Catechesis in Images series and stay up to date - new volumes are on the way!
