Politics and the Christian

The thirteenth volume in Monsignor Martinelli’s Catechesis in Images series addresses the highly relevant topic of Christians’ political engagement, interpreted in light of the Church’s social doctrine. The author explores the fundamental principles that guide Christian political action, inspired by the words of Pope Pius XI: “Politics is the highest form of charity, second only to religious charity toward God.” Characterized by the series’ innovative format, the book combines text with images and PowerPoint slides, offering a visual and engaging learning experience. Monsignor Martinelli guides readers in reflecting on the importance of embodying these principles in everyday life, encouraging them to translate their faith into concrete actions according to their role and responsibilities.
