The Holy Wounds of Our Lord Jesus Christ

To the French mystic Sister Marie Martha Chambon (1841-1907), Jesus entrusted the mission of spreading throughout the world devotion to his holy wounds.

Indeed, the Lord said: «In heaven I have saints who have had great devotion to my wounds, but on earth almost no one honors me in this way».

He also promised: «I will grant everything that is asked of me through the invocation of the holy wounds. Their devotion must be spread».

And again: «Do my holy wounds sustain the world? Ask me to love them constantly, because they are the source of every grace. They must be invoked often, others must be drawn to them, and devotion to them must be impressed upon souls».

This book, therefore, aims to be a precious means of fulfilling Jesus’ request, while also helping each person understand the immense love of his heart and the infinite merits that come to us through his holy wounds.

To pray with this book, the Chaplet of the Five Wounds of Jesus is required.
