Letters to the Friars

Every year, from 1983 to 1994, Father Lanfranco Serrini, as Minister General of the Friars Minor Conventual, wrote a long letter to his brothers. These pages reveal the profound humility and intense spirituality of this great man, who was able to make his ministry a perfect gift to God and to his brothers. The message of these letters is so relevant and universal that everyone will find valuable inspiration for reflection and conversion in them. Indeed, before being a religious, Father Lanfranco was a man like all of us, and his understanding of the problems of our times is very great. Communion, fraternity, welcome, and a spirit of service are just some of the themes on which Father Lanfranco reflects and encourages reflection in these beautiful letters. Let us treasure his words.
