Lourdes. The story, the stories

Don Gianni Toni, regional assistant of UNITALSI in Lazio and honorary chaplain of the Grotto of Massabielle, recounts Lourdes in this book, a place and experience that characterize his priestly ministry. In the first part of the volume, the author outlines the history of the apparitions; in the second, he collects and presents the testimonies of many pilgrims, including some who experienced miracles, who recount their intense experience of Lourdes in their own words. This is followed by a section devoted to the sites of Lourdes, offering a brief pilgrim’s guide, and a section of prayers, including a novena, the Holy Rosary, and the Way of the Cross. This book allows readers to become pilgrims to Lourdes, even if only in their hearts, and offers enthralling pages that can be read in one sitting! The volume is enriched by a preface from Monsignor Yoannis Lahzi Gaid, private secretary to Pope Francis.
