My brother the wolf

During his visit to Gubbio, a lively little corner of the world filled with tranquillity, with alleyways bustling with religious figures, artisans and farmers, shops selling succulent food and wealthy merchants, Francis goes to meet the wolf that has long been spreading panic and terror among the local inhabitants: the crowd gathers at the city gates, eager to see how this unusual encounter will end.
But who was the wolf of Gubbio really? Ceriani, the author of both the text and illustrations, offers an original retelling of the famous legend associated with the saint's life. It provides an opportunity to introduce young readers to the richness and originality of his character, while also helping them overcome the small and large fears of everyday life, which sometimes seem more frightening than they really are.
