Mary, Queen of the Family. Apparitions and Message at Ghiaie di Bonate

The book recounts the events that took place in Ghiaie di Bonate beginning on May 13, 1944, when a 7-year-old girl, Adelaide Roncalli, claimed to have seen the Virgin Mary with Saint Joseph and the infant Jesus in her arms. Twelve more alleged apparitions followed, until May 31, 1944. In addition to recounting the story, Father Serafino Tognetti offers an interpretation of the Virgin’s message. The volume includes a letter from Monsignor Francesco Beschi, bishop of Bergamo, and his decree which - based on guidance from the Holy See - authorizes devotion to Mary, Queen of the Family. He writes: “Now is the time for this devotion to shine forth, illuminating and supporting the journey of so many faithful, especially those living through hardship and suffering.” A large section, introduced by brief notes from Monsignor Beschi on Marian devotion, is dedicated to prayer. It includes Marian prayers by the popes and the Rosary for Married Couples, through which spouses can entrust their journey to the Queen of the Family.
