Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel medal, in brass. Diameter 1,8 cm

Brass medal of the Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel, measuring 1.8 cm in diameter, depicting Our Lady of Mount Carmel on one side and the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the other - exactly the two images found on the Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The meaning of the scapular is profound: it symbolizes Our Lady’s protection and the commitment to live a Christian life. According to tradition, those who wear the scapular with faith receive the promise of protection and help, not only in this life but also in the afterlife. A product to give as part of evangelization. Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the Virgin venerated on Mount Carmel since the time of the first friars, who built and dedicated their first little church to her and placed themselves under her protection. Her veneration is linked to devotion to the scapular, which, according to tradition, was given by Mary to a legendary prior general of the Carmelite order, Simon Stock, with the promise that all those who wear it will be freed from the pains of Purgatory on the first Saturday after death.
