Do Not Speak Ill of Others!

"When we speak ill of others, we take away from them the face of God's Beauty and put on them the mask of the ugliness of evil. We too become «ugly» when we look at ourselves in the mirror, stained with the blood of the brother we have killed with our tongue. Spiritual reflections, quotations from authors, and the Pope's words to help us avoid falling into temptation. May Our Lady of Silence teach us to use our tongue properly, grant us the strength to bless everyone, peace in our hearts, and the joy of living." (From the Preface by Pope Francis)
