Father Bernardino Piccinelli. A shepherd with the smell of sheep

The Servant of God, Father Bernardino Maria Piccinelli (1905-1984), a friar of the Order of Servants of Mary, always illuminated the civic and religious life of Ancona like a beacon in the night, first as parish priest of the Sacred Heart and then as Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese. His sincere smile and boundless generosity left an indelible memory in everyone who knew him. Father Girolamo M. Iotti tells us about all this and much more. He now lives in the same convent in Ancona where Father Bernardino carried out his ministry; with the help of the writings of Father Alfonso Baccarani, Father Bernardino’s fellow friar for many years, he keeps alive for everyone the memory of a man who devoted his life to love.
