Kenty was founded as part of a solidarity project designed to create employment and growth opportunities in distant communities, often in severely disadvantaged areas such as Peru, Ecuador, Thailand, and Indonesia. Years of work on cooperation projects, a passion for all forms of folk art and craftsmanship, professional expertise developed in the field, and great enthusiasm were the ingredients for carrying this project forward with artisan families, refugees, and small youth cooperatives. With them, Kenty produces nativity scenes, objects, small pieces of furniture, and jewelry made entirely by hand, using environmentally friendly materials, with a focus on recycling and the artisan techniques of each country. Every product is created through teamwork, bringing together different forms of creativity and stories, with the precise intention of evolving the past toward the future and becoming a means of communication between worlds that are so far apart and often do not know one another.
