Kenty was created as part of a solidarity project designed to generate employment and growth opportunities in places far from us, often in highly disadvantaged areas such as Peru, Ecuador, Thailand, and Indonesia. Years of work on cooperation projects, a passion for all forms of folk art and handicrafts, professional expertise developed in the field, and great enthusiasm have provided the ingredients for carrying this project forward with artisan families, refugees, and small youth cooperatives. Together with them, Kenty produces nativity scenes, objects, small pieces of furniture, and jewelry made entirely by hand, using eco-friendly materials, with careful attention to recycling and the traditional craft techniques of each country. Each product is created through teamwork, bringing together different forms of creativity and stories, with the precise intention of evolving the past toward the future and becoming a means of communication between worlds so far apart that they often do not know one another.
