Saint Benedict. Man of God

Writing the life of a saint about whom much has already been written can be compared to a conductor’s interpretation of a famous, widely known symphony. The musical work is the same, but the performance can be original. What we offer you is not the usual biography, often boring and predictable, but a fast-paced “question-and-answer” exchange between a curious young person and a wise monk. Youth is the time for life’s decisive choices; it is therefore good for young people to have credible witnesses to holiness of life as examples. Here, then, is a text addressed to everyone, but especially to young people, so that they may find in Saint Benedict a point of reference for overcoming life’s various difficulties and a guide for growing in love for Jesus Christ, the supreme model of love for the “Father of all” and for every person.
