Saint Francis de Sales. 24 steps in everyday life. From Philothea, Introduction to the Devout Life. Volume I

How often have we wished that someone would give us practical advice in difficult situations in our lives or help us avoid mistakes and setbacks! Paolo Mojoli and Gianni Ghiglione outline a 24-step journey through everyday life that everyone can follow - men and women, consecrated people and married couples, young and old. Following the teachings of Saint Francis de Sales, they present, in 24 steps, passages from Philothea for reflection, meditation, prayer, and action. Saint Francis de Sales, with the trust and love of a father, the gentleness of a man who lives holiness, and the practicality of a spiritual director, takes us by the hand, guiding us along the difficult path of holiness, to which we are all called. Let us accept his invitation to become saints by making the Gospel our rule of life and committing ourselves to living it with love every day.
