Saint Francis de Sales. 24 steps in everyday life. From the letters, the joy of friendship. Volume II

The second volume in the “24 Steps in Everyday Life” series, dedicated to Saint Francis de Sales, offers a journey of meditation and prayer toward a joyful discovery of the theme of friendship through an anthology drawn from his letters. Gianni Ghiglione presents a portrait of Saint Francis de Sales based precisely on his correspondence, from which the most complete and faithful account of his life as a pastor emerges, allowing readers to grasp his heart, through which he reveals his affectionate impulses and sincere friendship. In each chapter, Paolo Mojoli comments on a passage from a letter by Saint Francis de Sales, reflecting on the beauty of friendship lived in God and as a gift from God, and offering inspiration for meditation and prayer. The aim of this book is to unite friendship and prayer, dialogue filled with affection with other people and deep trust in God, through the enlightening teaching and example of Saint Francis de Sales.
