Saint Laura Montoya. Fearless woman

Saint Laura Montoya is an exceptional woman who, in Colombia in the late 1800s and early 1900s, becomes one with the marginalized and, together with some friends and her mother, begins an extraordinary work of evangelization. To help, comfort, support, and empower “her” Indigenous people, she faces countless difficulties: suspicions, false accusations from both the political and ecclesiastical worlds, and slander of every kind. Laura is not a woman who seeks a quiet life; rather, she is courageous and determined, willing to pay the price personally in order to give a voice to those who have none. Finally, with the first biography in Italian, this truly intrepid woman can be known and loved by all those who, like her, burn with passion for truth and the Gospel.
