Saint Veronica Giuliani. Life and selected passages

“Saint Veronica Giuliani: Life and Selected Passages” is a book that, in its simplicity, allows us to enter the intimate and secret rooms of one of the Church’s most important mystics. In the biography, Veronica appears as a true teacher who, especially through passages from her diary, teaches us the beauty of the Gospel by showing us how she allowed herself to be loved and permeated by the divine Love that seduced her, possessed her, and set her ablaze. This Capuchin nun is a saint because she welcomed and embraced Jesus Christ in his most holy humanity. He became for her spouse, friend, father, brother, son - the unique treasure of her heart. These pages allow readers to immerse themselves in the hidden, everyday life of a woman who, amid the simple course of cloistered life, experienced an incredible fullness of love for the Lord Jesus and for all humanity. The thoughtful selection of pages from her diary opens up infinite spaces within her inner life, which was always consumed in the fire of an unconditional love.
