Handcrafted glycerin soap, available in 10 different fragrances, made and packaged by the Cistercian nuns of Valserena.
It is a transparent glycerin soap, naturally colored. It has an intense fragrance that lingers after rinsing. Suitable for all skin types, it produces a soft yet rich lather.
The available fragrances are: Lily of the Valley, Lemon Balm, Bitter Orange, Green Tea, Citrus, Olive Oil, Lavender, Sandalwood, Rose, and Honeysuckle.
Historical background: Since 1968, the workshop of the Valserena Cistercian Monastery has made personal care products. This activity helps support the community and assist foundations in mission territories. The monastery belongs to the Cistercian Order of the Strict Observance, a monastic institute fully devoted to contemplative life. Within the cloister, the nuns devote themselves to the worship of God according to the Rule of Saint Benedict.
