Shampoo with nettle, sage and rosemary, in a 250 ml bottle, produced directly by the Cistercian nuns inside the Valserena Monastery.
This shampoo gently cleanses, giving hair shine and manageability, and benefits from the properties of nettle extracts, traditionally used in scalp treatments for oily, dandruff-prone scalps, as well as sage and rosemary, which are particularly suitable for purifying and revitalizing the scalp. Nettle is known for its hair-strengthening and growth-stimulating properties; sage may help reduce sebum production and maintain a healthy scalp, while rosemary is often used to promote blood circulation and improve hair health.
Directions: Wet the hair, apply 5-10 grams of shampoo and cleanse. Rinse and repeat with a small amount, enough to produce lather.
Ingredients: aqua, sodium laureth sulfate, laureth-3, caprylyl/capryl glucoside, sodium chloride, peg-15-cocopolyamine, propylene glycol, cocamidopropyl betainem hydrolized vegetable protein, parfum, dmd hydantoin, disodium edta, rosmariuns officinalis leaf extract, benzyl salicitate, urtica dioica leaf extract, salvia officinalis leaf extract
Historical notes: Since 1968, the laboratory of the Valserena Cistercian Monastery has been producing personal care products. This activity helps support the community and provide assistance to foundations in mission territories. The monastery belongs to the Order of Cistercians of the Strict Observance, a monastic institute entirely devoted to contemplative life. Within the cloister, the nuns devote themselves to the worship of God according to the Rule of Saint Benedict.
