Wooden statue of Saint Carlo Acutis. Height 200 cm

This statue of Saint Carlo Acutis, made from fine lime wood and entirely hand-carved and hand-painted with oil colors, was created in Italy by a workshop of artisans specializing in the production of statues of saints and blesseds for churches, chapels, and cathedrals. In addition to giving the statue exceptional beauty, the wood also ensures lasting durability and makes each statue unique.

The added value of this statue lies in the fact that the project was carried out under the supervision of Carlo's mother, Mrs. Antonia Salzano, using photos and videos of the Blessed to make it as lifelike and accurate as possible. The project was completed in collaboration with the artist who designed the funeral monument in which Carlo's body was laid to rest, as well as being the Acutis family's trusted graphic designer and close collaborator for many years. This beautiful and imposing statue was expertly crafted by a workshop whose professionalism Editrice Shalom has relied on for a very long time and which has been operating for more than 140 years (having seen five generations of artisans), hand-carving wooden sculptures that are true works of art.
