Statue of Immaculate Mary, in colored marble powder. Height 33 cm

Beautiful statue depicting the Madonna holding the Child Jesus, embellished with gilded brass elements, such as the traditional halo with stars and the processional cross held by the Child Jesus. Made from marble powder and painted entirely by hand. Crafted entirely by hand, from molding to finishing, it features carefully executed details in every aspect. Made especially for Editrice Shalom, which directly oversaw the entire process, from sculpting the plasticine to creating the first model and completing the painting. The statue’s base bears a reference to the Book of Genesis, verse 3:15, which says: “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” This signifies the eternal discord between the serpent (the Devil) and Mary, to the extent that her offspring (Jesus) will defeat him. Also available in the white-and-gold version.
