Statue of Mary Mediatrix, in colored marble powder. Height 40 cm

Beautiful statue depicting Mediatrix Mary, represented just like a painting, found at the Sanctuary of Merciful Love in Collevalenza. Made of marble powder and entirely hand-painted. Crafted entirely by hand, from molding to finishing, it features carefully refined details in every respect. Created especially for Editrice Shalom, which directly oversaw the entire process, from sculpting the plasticine to creating the first model and completing the painting stage. This image depicts Mary Mediatrix with a lily on her chest and her arms open in an attitude of asking mercy from her Divine Son. Mary welcomed Jesus into her Immaculate Heart, represented by the Host resting on the lily. The Host on Mary's chest symbolizes Jesus' Eucharistic gift and also invites us to make the same offering. Mary the Queen is filled with the Holy Spirit and crushes the head of the evil one beneath her foot: this is a sign of the sure hope that God's Merciful Love will triumph over the evil in the world (rainbow). At any moment, we can turn to this Mother to implore her protection for our brothers and sisters, confident that they will be helped by the Lord's mercy. Mary is the Mediatrix of Mercy, not only because she intercedes with her Son for graces on our behalf, but also because she invites us to become better able to receive and give divine mercy. Also available in white and gold.
