Statue of Mary Mediatrix in white fiberglass. Height 160 cm

Beautiful statue depicting Our Lady Mediatrix, represented just like a painting, located at the Sanctuary of Merciful Love in Collevalenza. Made of white fiberglass. Entirely handcrafted, from molding to finishing, it features carefully crafted details in every aspect. This image depicts Mary Mediatrix with a lily on her chest and her arms open in an attitude of asking mercy from her Divine Son. Mary welcomed Jesus into her Immaculate Heart, represented by the Host resting on the lily. The Host on Mary's chest symbolizes Jesus' Eucharistic gift and also invites us to make the same offering. Mary, Queen, is filled with the Holy Spirit and crushes the head of the evil one with her foot: this is a sign of the sure hope in the victory of God's Merciful Love over the evil in the world (rainbow). At any moment, we can turn to this Mother to implore her protection for our brothers and sisters, certain that they will be helped by the Lord's mercy. Mary is the Mediatrix of Mercy, not only because she intercedes with her Son for graces on our behalf, but also because she invites us to become capable of receiving and giving divine mercy more fully.
