Sacred Heart of Jesus statue, in colored marble powder. Height 31 cm

Beautiful statue depicting the Sacred Heart of Jesus, represented just like a painting, located inside the Sanctuary of the Sacred Heart of Urbino. Made of marble powder and entirely hand-painted. Crafted entirely by hand, from molding to finishing, it features carefully refined details in every respect. Made specifically for Editrice Shalom, which directly oversaw the entire process, from sculpting the plasticine to creating the first model and completing the painting stage. This particular depiction of the Sacred Heart of Jesus derives from a vision experienced by a humble shoemaker from Urbino, Elia Bellebono, during a visit to the chapel where the Blessed Sacrament was exposed. Jesus appeared to him and said: “I wish you to have a sanctuary built and dedicated to my Most Sacred Heart. Have a painting made as you see me, so that it may reign in the center of the sanctuary itself, and there I will shower many graces.” Also available in white and gold.
