St. Francis of Assisi statue, made of colored resin. Height 30 cm

Beautiful 30 cm tall statue, made of resin and painted with meticulous attention to detail and color shading.

The statue, made entirely of colored resin, depicts Saint Francis of Assisi with the wolf and other animals, because Saint Francis sensed the presence of God in them.

Made in Italy by skilled artisans specializing in the production of resin and fiberglass statues. Saint Francis was an Italian religious figure and poet, founder of the order that later took his name (the Franciscan Order). Along with Saint Catherine of Siena, he is the principal patron saint of Italy. His liturgical feast is celebrated on October 4.

Also known as "the Little Poor Man of Assisi" because of his decision to renounce all material possessions and lead a minimalist life in complete spiritual harmony. In addition to his spiritual work, Francis, thanks to the Canticle of the Creatures, is recognized as one of the founders of the Italian literary tradition.
