Saint Michael the Archangel statue, made of olive wood. Height 8,5 cm

Beautiful and highly elegant statue, made from high-quality olive wood, depicting Saint Michael the Archangel.

Thanks to its characteristic color and uniquely varied dark grain, olive wood makes every piece one of a kind. Made in Italy by a company specializing in woodworking, particularly olive wood, which is left to rest for several years before being worked, ensuring greater strength and durability over time for the finished product.

The archangel Michael is remembered for defending faith in God against Satan's hordes. Michael, commander of the heavenly armies, is depicted as a warrior, carrying a sword and wearing armor with which he defeats Satan, represented as a dragon. In the Catholic liturgical calendar, he is celebrated as "Saint Michael the Archangel" on September 29, together with Saint Gabriel the Archangel and Saint Raphael the Archangel.
