St. Thérèse of Lisieux statue, in hollow resin. Height 50 cm

Beautiful 50 cm-tall statue made of resin and painted with exceptional attention to detail and color shading. Made entirely of colored resin, the statue depicts Saint Thérèse of Lisieux.

Made in Italy by artisans experienced in producing resin and fiberglass statues. Sister Thérèse of the Child Jesus and the Holy Face, known as Thérèse of Lisieux, was a French Carmelite nun.

Beatified on April 29, 1923, by Pope Pius XI, she was canonized by the same pope on May 17, 1925. She is the patron saint of missionaries, together with Saint Francis Xavier.

Her liturgical feast is celebrated on October 1. She wrote her autobiography, titled "Story of a Soul", which has inspired countless believers and deeply affected many non-believers as well.
