Descrizione
Priestly stole made of fabric composed of 45% polyester, 45% cotton, and 5% elastane, featuring machine embroidery depicting Carlo Acutis. The stole has an overall length of 252 cm and reaches approximately to the knee when worn. Made in Italy by a company specializing in the production of sacred vestments. The stole is always mandatory for bishops, priests, and deacons during celebrations and rites (although deacons use a different stole, as they wear it differently from priests). When wearing it, a priest (bishop or presbyter) lets it hang straight from the shoulders down to the legs, while a deacon wears it diagonally, from the left shoulder to the right hip. Over time, the stole’s symbolism has evolved: initially, it represented the office that deacons and priests accepted during ordination; later, it came to symbolize the virtues of the priest, making it a symbol of humility, wisdom, patience, purity, and fortitude.
