A month with the Most Precious Blood

An entire month, 31 “drops,” to reflect, pray, and meditate on the wonderful mystery of the most precious blood of Jesus. Each day, one can reflect on the Word of God (the “drop”), followed by a brief commentary that aids understanding; the meditation continues with a passage from saints or Church Fathers who had a special love for the most precious blood, and concludes with a series of invocations that, recalling the three preceding moments, turn the reflections into a longing of the heart. The month of prayer and meditation, traditionally July but which can also be any other month of the year, ends with a consecration to the most precious blood of Jesus.
